Doubles Record: 24-30 overall, 14-22 dual record

Sophomore (2014-15): Went 10-7 in singles overall… Rode a six-match win streak from Nov. 7th – Jan. 16th… Won at No. 3, 4, 5 and 6 singles for the Commodores… Only lost one dual singles match for VU… Defeated Ball State’s Patrick Downs (7-6, 1-0(8)), Belmont’s Caio Niel (6-1, 6-3), Georgia State’s Sebastian Acuna (7-5, 6-4) and Lipscomb’s Daniel Hernandes (6-2, 6-2) in dual season… Went 4-7 in doubles play, playing primarily at No. 2… Most notably defeated then-No. 34 Eddy Covalschi/Josh Hagar of Notre Dame, 8-5, alongside Binet… Made it to the semifinals with Newman in Athens at Southern Intercollegiates, defeating UK’s Yates/Bushamuka and UGA’s Wood/Bertran along the way… Got to quarterfinals in the SEC Fall Classic with Newman, defeating MSU’s Agarwal/Gowda, and Tennessee’s Jones/Valero.

2013-14 (Freshman):Went 7-9 overall and 4-3 in dual play … Played primarily in No. 6 singles spot, going 2-3 … With Eswaran picked up the 8-4 win at No. 2 doubles in first round of NCAA Tournament … Also won second round NCAA Tournament match with Eswaran at No. 2 doubles against Columbia … Defeated No. 38 VT’s Florian Nicoud 6-4, 7-6 (7-4) in singles in first round of NCAA Tournament … Defeated UGA’s Hernus Pieters in the No. 6 position 4-6, 7-6, (7-4), 6-3 in the SEC Tournament.

High School: Attended Cypress Bay High School playing tennis under head coach Vincent Grossi … First Team All-State all four years of HS … Florida tennis Player of the Year as a junior … Led the Cypress Bay Lightning to two state championships.
