Sophomore (2015-16): Competed in the 2016 NCAA Singles Tournament… Named to the first team All-SEC… Played entire season at No. 1 spot in singles lineup… Boasted a 60-23 overall singles record… Had eight ranked wins to his name during the dual season and 11 overall… Three-top 25 victories… Earned a then-career-high ranking of No. 34 in the nation… Danny clinched four matches for the Commodores including wins over No. 55 Auburn and Tennessee, both in three sets… Upset Duke’s then-No. 17 Nicolas Alvarez, 6-3, 6-4 for the clinch over No. 25 Blue Devils… Defeated Texas A&M’s then-No. 18 Arthur Rinderknech, 6-2, 3-6, 6-4 to tie the match at 3-all… Upset Florida’s No. 24 Hidalgo 3-6, 6-2, 7-5… Went on a 12-match winning streak, which stretched from Oct. 24th to Feb. 13th

Freshman (2014-15): Compiled a 31-6 record in his debut season with the ‘Dores… Played dominantly at No. 3 singles… Went 12-13 overall in doubles action… Only three singles losses in dual season, with two in league play… Six losses overall… One of five freshmen named Second Team All-SEC… One of eight freshmen voted to the SEC All-Freshman team… Third Commodore to ever earn the Ohio Valley Player to Watch award… Ohio Valley Regional singles Semifinalist… Went undefeated at Commodore Scramble… Recorded a 12-match win streak from Nov. 7th – Feb. 20th… Amassed an undefeated 5-0 record against ranked opponents in spring…  Major win of the season came in Athens, as he ended Senior Bulldog Nathan Pasha’s 10-match win streak; 4-6, 6-0, 6-1… Went 10-10 in doubles, playing predominantly at No. 3 with Suresh Eswaran… Ranked doubles win at ITA Kickoff finals over then-No. 44 Pramming/Roberts.
