Matt Sholtis

Matt Sholtis comes to Nashville following three seasons on Byington’s JMU staff. During his time with the Dukes, Sholtis served as the program’s director of operations.

Sholtis helped the Dukes to winning seasons in each of his three years at JMU, including a school-record 32 wins and NCAA Tournament win this season.

Prior to his time in Harrisonburg, Sholtis spent two seasons with Charlotte. In the 2020-21 season, he served as the 49ers’ director of scouting and overseeing the program’s video operations. The season prior, Sholtis served as a graduate assistant, assisting the coaching staff compile scouting reports and recruiting operations.

Sholtis holds two degrees from Charlotte and worked four seasons as a manager while earning his bachelor’s degree.
