Aldo Murià
Personnel Analyst
Aldo Muriá joined Vanderbilt football in 2021 and currently serves as senior personnel analyst. He was promoted to the role in 2024.
In his role, Muriá assists the scouting department and General Manager with monitoring the transfer portal, vetting of prospective student-athletes, cutting film of prospects and assisting in the management of the recruiting board, database and operations. Muriá was initially hired at Vanderbilt as a scouting intern.
Muriá joined Vandy from All22 – The Global Scouting Network, where he first served as a scouting assistant and later as regional scouting director for Latin America. All22 helps connect global football players with teams and colleges.
He spent 2019-20 as a defensive scout for Universidad Anahuac Mexico in Mexico City, working on opponent scouting, tendency scouting and self-scouting.
Muriá was a scouting assistant for the Montreal Alouttes in 2019, assisting the CFL team in scouting the LFA, Mexico’s professional league.
He served as an assistant coach at Club Deportivo Gamos in his native Mexico City, while also spending three years as an NFL Draft and fantasy football analyst for Primeroydiez.com in Mexico.
Muriá earned football coach certification from CPLED/INDEPORTE in 2018, football evaluator certification from The Scouting Academy in 2019 and completed an area scouting course with All22 in 2021.
Born and raised in Mexico City, Muriá graduated from Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico in 2014. Muriá’s parents, Rafael and Aleli, have two additional sons – Alan and Ari.
