2016
After moving from outside linebacker to defensive end in spring drills, Mitchell played in 11 games… Mitchell concluded the season with six total tackles, including one tackle for loss… He also posted a quarterback hurry and defensed pass… Registered season-high of two tackles in victory over Middle Tennessee.

2015
A first-year transfer from City College of San Francisco, Mitchell played in every game at outside linebacker… Earned starting assignments in first seven games, then split repetitions with sophomore Landon Stokes… Finished the season with 24 total tackles, nine solo stops, 1.5 tackles for loss and a defensed pass… Posted season high of five tackles against Georgia… Registered three solo stops in win over Middle Tennessee… Shared a QB sack in narrow road loss at Florida… Opened career with three tackles vs. Western Kentucky.

Played 2014 season at City College of San Francisco, helping the Rams to an 11-2 record that played in the California Junior College state championship game… As senior DE, posted 52 tackles, 10 quarterback sacks and returned an interception for touchdown… Earned All-NCJC and All-Conference honors… Transferred to CCSF after two years at Sacramento State when he played 2013 season as hybrid DE/OLB… Graduated from Bishop OrDowd HS in Oakland, starting two years at DE… Helped Dragons to CIF Northern California D-III playoffs in 2010-11… Also lettered as forward/center on Bishop OrDowd basketball team.
