Monroe appeared in 10 games at wide receiver as a first-year contributor for the Commodore offense… Concluded the season with five receptions, good for 17 yards… Posted pair of catches against Texas A&M.

2014
Monroe did not see action as a true freshman, but displayed plenty of abilities as a scout team wide receiver during fall practices… Also worked effectively to improve overall strength in the weight room during first year on campus.

Three-year captain, four-year varsity letterwinner… Three-year starting QB for 5A school located in suburb west of Houston… As senior, named District MVP after amassing 4,258 total yards, including 3,331 passing yards, and accounting for 56 TDs… One of his favorite passing targets was twin brother Donald Monroe… Production helped Bush to 9-3 mark and second round of 5A state playoffs… As junior, threw for 1,881 yards and 21 TDs for 10-2 Broncos squad… Was district’s Newcomer of the Year as a sophomore after passing for 1,451 yards and 10 TDs during 8-4 campaign… Also played alongside brother on basketball squad that captured district title last year… Also earned letters as sprinter in track & field.
