Scott’s production as a senior was slowed as he spent much of September recovering from an offseason injury… Played in 11 games, earning six starts at wide receiver… Along with Trent Sherfield and C.J. Duncan, formed an excellent senior receiving trio for the Commodores… Finished the year with 19 catches for 178 yards and two touchdowns… After missing the opener and seeing limited action through four games, Scott posted receptions in seven straight games… Registered four catches Georgia and South Carolina… Touchdown receptions came at Florida and against Missouri.

2016
Scott overcome early-season injuries to become one of the team’s top receivers in Vanderbilt’s 4-2 stretch drive… Earning starts against Tennessee State, Tennessee and NC State while playing in all 13 games, Scott concluded the season third on the team with 24 receptions for 466 yards… His 19.4-yard average per catch easily topped the Commodores and ranked third in the Southeastern Conference among receivers with at least 20 catches… In his last give games, Scott produced a series of explosive plays, catching 18 passes for 346 yards… In the regular season finale win over Tennessee, Scott set a career high with 114 receiving yards on four catches, including acrobatic receptions of 45 and 40 yards that led to important Commodore touchdowns… Scott’s 19-yard diving catch early in the Ole Miss game sparked a series of spectacular receptions by Commodore receivers in the win… Scott also produced a critical 66-yard catch at Western Kentucky that set up Vanderbilt’s game-tying touchdown in the fourth quarter… Scott also added 49 receiving yards in the Camping World Camping World.

2015
Scott came into his own as a sophomore, becoming one of the team’s top options at wide receiver… Played in every game, earning nine games, including the final eight of the year… Concluded the season with season highs of 24 catches, 339 receiving yards and two TDs… Averaged 14.1 yards per catch, tops among team’s WRs… Posted at least two receptions in eight games, topped by a five-catch effort at Ole Miss… Made three important catches, including one for a touchdown, and career-high 87 yards in victory over Kentucky… Had 43 yards in road win at Middle Tennessee… Posted catches of 36 and 25 yards at Tennessee.

2014
Scott saw action in 11 of 12 games during his first year on campus… Participated at wide receiver… Earned first start in season finale vs. Tennessee… Leader among the team’s true freshmen with six catches and 78 receiving yards… Longest reception of season was a 39-yarder in win over Old Dominion… Notched two acrobatic catches for first downs in narrow loss at Missouri… Also posted receptions vs. Temple, Georgia and Tennessee.

Three-year letterwinner… Two-year starting WR for Class AAAAAA power northeast of Atlanta… As senior captain, amassed 1,057 yards and 10 TDs on 72 catches helping North Gwinnett to 13-2 record and state title game… Top game – 12 catches for 211 yards – came against rival Collins Hill… Two-time All-State, All-Area recipient… Played in postseason North-South Georgia All-Star Game… As a junior, posted 38 receptions for 684 yards and 11 TDs… Captured regional hurdles title in track & field… High academic achiever.

Caleb Gregory Scott… Born Feb. 8, 1996… Son of Chuck and Julie Scott… Has one brother, Chad, and one sister, Jenna… Working toward a degree in Medicine, Health & Society… Both parents graduated from Vanderbilt and work with Young Life ministry… Dad was an All-America tight end at Vanderbilt who played in the NFL… Brother played receiver at Furman University.
