Bell saw action in 11 of 12 games at cornerback and on special teams… Finished the year with 14 total tackles, including seven solo stops… Had four tackles in opener against Western Kentucky, and season-high five tackles in win over Austin Peay.

2014
Bell played in 11 of 12 games as a first-year contributor… Participated as cornerback and member of special team coverage units… Made first career start against Temple in opener… Also was in starting secondary against Ole Miss, UMass and South Carolina… Finished the year with 19 total tackles, 15 solo tackles and a pair of defensed passes… Posted six total tackles vs. Ole Miss and five solo tackles vs. UMass… Also registered five tackles vs. Temple.

2013
Bell did not see game action as a true freshman… He impressed as a defensive back on scout teams during the fall, and worked to build strength in the weight room.

High School
Three-year starting cornerback for one of New Jersey’s top private schools… As senior, posted two INTs, 12 pass breakups and accounted for three TDS for 8-2 St. Peter’s team… Selected as Non-Public School All-State and All-League, Bell also participated in postseason Chesapeake All-Star Game… As junior, totalled three INTs and 12 passes defended for 7-4 Marauders’ squad.
