Weaver did not play as a true freshman… He worked as a tight end during fall practices.
High School
Senior captain… Three-year varsity starter, playing DE and TE… As senior helped Lions to 9-3 record and second round of DII-A playoffs… Earned All-State and Commercial Appeal ‘Best of the Preps’ recognition… Contributed 66 tackles, 8.5 sacks and 13 tackles for loss on defense as senior, and added pair of TD catches on offense… Played in two postseason games, the Offense-Defense All-American Bowl and AutoZone Liberty Bowl All-Star Game.
