Played in all 13 games for the Commodores, earning nine starting assignments at outside linebacker… Has 14 starts in 35 career appearances… Finished the year with 18 total tackles, seven solo stops, and shared on a quarterback sack… Posted season-high three tackles, including the sack, in team’s win over Tennessee State, and vs. NC State in the Camping World Independence Bowl… Also contributed multiple tackles against Georgia Tech, Georgia, and Ole Miss.

2015
Stokes earned the most significant role of his Commodore career as a redshirt sophomore… Playing in every game, Stokes started the final five games at outside linebacker…. Rotated with Nehemiah Mitchell for much of the year in the OLB role… Set numerous season highs, including 12 solo tackles, 24 total tackles, three tackles for loss, four defensed passes and three QB hurries… In five starts, accumulated 18 tackles and four defensed passes… Career high of five total tackles came in win over Kentucky… Had another career high of four solo tackles in finale at Tennessee… First career QB sack proved a key defensive play in eventual victory over Missouri.

2014
Stokes participated in 10 of 12 games as a redshirt freshman… Earning playing time at outside linebacker in 3-4 defensive scheme… Served as key reserve to starters Kyle Woestmann and Stephen Weatherly… Registered four solo tackles during the season, with stops coming against Ole Miss, UMass, Florida and Mississippi State.

2013
Stokes did not see action as a true freshman… Improved strength while impressing coaches as a practice squad defensive end.

High School
Senior captain… Four-year starter for Orlando school… Started as DE/LB on defense and WR/TE on offense… As a senior, contributed 54 tackles, and eight sacks… Also added 15 catches for 264 yards and three TDs on offense… Named Second Team 4A All-State and listed as a top prospect by Orlando Sentinel as senior… Posted nearly 20 sacks and more than 175 tackles during career… Started on Highlanders’ basketball team coached by former Vanderbilt basketball standout Jeff Turner… Also lettered in track & field.
