#11 Harding Harper Season 2013-14

2015
Harper missed virtually the entire season for the second straight seaosn due to an injury… Harper saw action as a reserve linebacker and special teams contributor in the opener vs. Western Kentucky and against Georgia… Suffered season-ending leg injury in Georgia outing… Did not register a tackle in limited action.

2014
The team-oriented Harper missed out of the season due to injury… The third-year defensive player saw action on defense and special teams against Temple and Ole Miss before being sidelined for the season… Did not register tackle during limited snaps as an interior linebacker.

2013
Harper played much of the regular season at linebacker, moving to fullback late in the year… Played in all 13 games… Did not post a rushing attempt on offense… On defense, registered three solo tackles and an assisted stop… Contributed three tackles in win over Austin Peay.

2012
Harper is redshirting in his first season on West End, while contributing as a linebacker on the practice squad… Has added bulk to frame through effective weight room effort since arriving on campus.

High School
Senior captain as starting linebacker for 6A Montgomery public school power… Only played 2011 season at Carver, registering 108 tackles, 11 tackles for loss, three quarterback sacks and four interceptions… Returned two of the picks for scores, including one for 100 yards… Helped 7-4 Wolverines into state playoffs… Earned postseason First Team 6A All-State LB recognition by sportswriters and listed among Alabama’s Super Seniors by Birmingham News… As junior, played LB at Jackson-Olin HS in Birmingham, posting 90 total tackles, six QB sacks and an INT… Played forward on talented Carver hoops squad.

Harding Harper… Majoring in Sociology… Son of Harding and Catherine Harper… Born on Sept. 28, 1993… Has a brother, Montarius, that plays football at Alabama A&M… First cousin to New Orleans Saints’ safety Roland Harper.
