2013
Co-captain started every game at defensive end, running his consecutive starts streak to 33 games… Participated in five-player defensive end rotation that included Kyle Woestmann, Jimmy Stewart, Stephen Weatherly and Caleb Azubike… Finished with 25 solo tackles, 41 total tackles, four quarterback sacks and 9.5 tackles for loss… Ranks as team[apos]s active leader with 30.5 career tackles for loss and 15 quarterback hurries, and second with 11.5 career QB sacks… Posted at least one tackle in every game, with season high of six stops coming in win at Tennessee… Posted a tackle for loss in six of last seven games, including a pair at Tennessee… Produced important QB sacks in closing minutes of victories against Florida and Wake Forest… Also added a forced fumble vs. Gators… Registered four solo tackles in victories over Georgia, Tennessee and Wake Forest… Contributed a tackle for loss, defensed pass and QB hurry in the team[apos]s 41-24 victory over Houston in the BBVA Compass Bowl.

As defensive co-captain, May started all 13 games at defensive end for the Commodores… Concluded the regular season by registering 41 total tackles, including 10.5 tackles for loss, which ranks fourth on the team… Also tallied three sacks and two passes defended… Was superb in thrilling win at Ole Miss, recording six tackles, three tackles for loss and a sack… Also made six tackles with two tackles for loss and a sack in the regular season finale at Wake Forest… Had at least one tackle in every game… Set career high in solo tackles (6) at Ole Miss… Also had six tackles in victory over Auburn… Opened the year by contributing sack vs. South Carolina… Ranks second on the team with 6.5 career sacks and 10 career tackles for loss.

2011
May earned postseason Commodore Award as team[apos]s Defensive Unsung Hero… Started eight games at starts at DE, including the last seven games of the year… Played in all 12 games…Contributed two tackles in his first start of the year at South Carolina… Finished with 30 tackles, including 4.5 for loss… Posted at least one tackle in every game with a season-high four against Connecticut and Ole Miss… Shared team with two fumble recoveries, picking up fumbles in the first game of the year against Elon and in regular season finale at Wake Forest… Notched three sacks on the year recording one each against Alabama, Kentucky and Wake Forest… Also plays on special teams.

2010
Arguably team[apos]s top rusher off the edge, May worked his way into the starting lineup as a first-year contributor, earning SEC All-Freshman honors from league coaches… Appeared in eight games, earning first career start at DE against Florida… Suffered injury on first series vs. Gators that ended season… Also saw action on special teams… Concluded year with 29 total tackles, including six stops for loss, 1.5 QB sacks and a pair of QB hurries… Matched career high in tackles (6) in win over Eastern Michigan and loss at Arkansas… Also aided EMU victory with first career sack… Had at least three tackles in seven straight games… Named team[apos]s Specialist of the Week after Georgia effort.

2009
May was one of the team[apos]s most impressive scout team defensive players during his first year on campus, working primarily at defensive end… Named team[apos]s top defensive scout after victory at Rice.

High School
Senior captain and two-year starting DE for one of Alabama[apos]s top 5A programs… Also started at tight end as senior… Three-year letterwinner… As senior, contributed 93 tackles, 15 QB sacks and 17 tackles for loss for 10-3 Lion squad that advanced to second round of state playoffs… Caught game-winning TD in first round of 2008 playoffs… Named First Team 5A All-State Defense by Alabama Sports Writers Association… Also earned Metro Defensive Lineman of the Year… Listed among Alabama[apos]s Super Seniors by Birmingham News… Sprinter in track; ran on 4×400 relay that finished second at state meet.
