2009
Earned 11 starts at right guard while enjoying the biggest role of his five-year Commodore career… Finished career with 18 starts in 42 games played… Started the season in outstanding fashion, sharing team[apos]s co-Offensive Player of the Week honors after impressive performance versus Western Carolina… Limited during midseason with injury, missing start at Army.

2008
Played in every game, starting the last seven at right guard… Made progress physically through the season after suffering a severe leg injury in Spring drills… Played more than 75 percent of offensive snaps in second half of season… Earned first career start at Georgia.

2007
Saw limited action as reserve behind All-SEC left tackle Chris Williams… Played OT and on kick conversion units in first four games of season… Suspended for final eight games for violation of team rules.

2006
Worked as reserve offensive tackle, seeing limited action in seven games… Also participated as blocker on Commodore placekicking teams.

2005
Redshirted as freshman… Worked as offensive tackle and guard during fall practices.

High School
Team captain as senior… Started as senior at offensive tackle… Started three years at defensive tackle… Named to Knoxville News Sentinel[apos]s First Team PrepXtra team… Elected to play in Tennessee-Kentucky All-Star Game… Four-Year letterwinner in football and basketball, three letters as thrower in track & field… Current captain of basketball team.

Michael Eric Hensley… Son of Michael and Kathie Hensley… Expects to finish degree in Human and Organizational Development in May 2010… Participated in Tennessee Boy[apos]s State… Selected to represent state at National Student Leadership Conference and 2005 presidential inauguration… Member of the National Society of High School Scholars and National Honor Society… Volunteered with numerous causes, including Habitat for Humanity, Second Harvest Food Drive and Knoxville Children[apos]s Hospital… Enjoys numerous outdoor activities.
