2008
In first full season on offensive line, Lauer displayed superb footwork and solid blocking techniques to secure starting role… Played in 12 games, missing only the Georgia outing… Finished the year with 10 starts at left tackle, missing a three-game midseason stretch… Shared team[apos]s Offensive Player of the Week honor after performance in win over Rice… Also earned solid grades after Mississippi State, Ole Miss and South Carolina games.

2007
Played one game at defensive end… Credited with assisted tackle in win over Eastern Michigan… Moved to OT during offseason.

2006
Redshirted as a freshman… Participated as a scout team offensive tackle, earning Offensive Scout of the Week honors after the Georgia, South Carolina and Florida games.

High School
Three-year letterwinner for one of Ohio[apos]s top prep programs… Two-year starter at defensive end; as senior, started at offensive tackle… In 2005, continued 71 tackles, including 30 primary stops, five quarterback sacks and 13 hurries for Wildcat defense, earning All-County and team Most Improved Athlete honors… Posted 115 total tackles and nine sacks in career… Team went to Division I playoffs all three varsity seasons…Three-year starter for lacrosse squad that advanced to state[apos]s Elite Eight last year.
