Bio

2009
Arguably the Commodores[apos] most improved player, Williams secured a starting role at right offensive tackle with a strong preseason performance… Earned starting assignments against Western Carolina and LSU, receiving ‘winning’ blocking grade from coaches in season-opening victory… Suffering season-ending injury during second quarter of LSU encounter when opposing lineman rolled into his ankle… Lone Commodore touchdown at LSU, a 6-yard rush by quarterback Larry Smith, came behind Williams[apos] key block… Offensive line production seemed to waver when Williams went down with injury.

2008
Williams saw limited action in his redshirt freshman season… Participated in three games as reserve offensive tackle… Also worked up front of special team conversion units.

2007
Did not see action as a first-year offensive lineman… Served as practice squad OT.

HIGH SCHOOL
Co-captain as senior… Started at offensive tackle as junior and senior… Played big role in Bulldogs 13-2 campaign in 2006 that ended with convincing 5A state championship victory, first in school history… Earned all-region honors as senior, earning team[apos]s offensive line MVP… Also earned a varsity letter as thrower in track & field… Maintained perfect attendance through high school.
