Kirchoffer had a roller coaster campaign as a redshirt junior, starting strongly at right guard and closing as a starting tackle after struggling with midseason injuries… One of the Commodores[apos] strongest players, Kirchoffer started in nine games, and played in all 12 games… Kirchoffer started first eight games at right guard, giving way to a healthy Mac Pyle.. In last weeks of season, Kirchoffer moved to right tackle when depth became an issue… After two weeks spelling Elliot Hood at tackle, Kirchoffer worked his way into the starting lineup at tackle for the finale against Tennessee.

Played in every game… Served as key offensive guard reserve and on special team conversion units… Enjoyed most offensive line action during middle stages of season..

2004
Played in four games during the season, missing several games midway through the campaign due to an ankle injury… Participated at offensive guard in the first three games, then returned to play in the season finale.

Started as senior at right offensive tackle…North Fulton Super 11 pick by Atlanta Journal-Constitution, First Team All-Region and All-Fulton County… Team missed playoffs after 7-3 regular season in 2002… Named team[apos]s Best Offensive Lineman, earning season blocking grade of 91%… Earned three varsity letters as heavyweight wrestler… Impressive lifter in the weight room.
