2005
Enjoyed successful returned to squad from medical woes the previous year… Opened the season starting in wins at Wake Forest and Arkansas prior to suffering severe knee injury late in Razorback contest… Tried to return to action after missing three games, but was lost for season with re-injury against LSU.

2004
Left team prematurely… Started first three games at offensive guard before departure.

2003
Started every game at right guard… Co-winner of team[apos]s Offensive Player of the Week honors following win over UT-Chattanooga… One of Commodores[apos] most consistent offensive line performers… Has 18 career starts entering third season in Commodore uniform.

2002
Played in 10 of 12 games, starting at right guard on six occasions… Inserted into OL after injuries to Jordan Pettit and Brian Kovolisky… Every start came against SEC foe… Showed improvement as the season progressed.

High School
Team captain for 11-2 state quarterfinal team… Four-year offensive starter, three-year defensive starter… Played tight end until senior year, requesting move to offensive line… In 2001, had 79 tackles and six sacks on defense… Team won back-to-back region titles, school[apos]s first since 1974… Also served as team[apos]s long snapper… 5.0 speed… Three-time all-county nominee, twice named all-area… Named Associated Press First Team 1A All-State lineman as senior.

Son of Mick and Jean Pyle… Born Oct. 20, 1983… Is the oldest of three brothers… A sibling, Jay, is a sophomore football walk-on at West Georgia College… Youngest brother, Brock, starts at LB/TE for Adairsville HS… Both mom and dad teach at Adairsville Middle School… Spent the summer working with youngsters at a day care center near hometown… Plays the tuba and enjoys Shakespeare.
