Two-year starter at safety and three-year letterman for Ohio high school power… Amassed team-high 117 tackles, five sacks and three interceptions in 2002… Named to Associated Press All-District Team, All-County Team by Cleveland Plain-Dealer, and honorable mention All-State… Started slowly in 2001 as junior due to ankle injury, but helped lead team to state title with strong showing in playoffs… Has 4.45 speed and bench presses 300 pounds in weight room…Also earned three letters for state champion track team, with personal best in 100 meters of 10.9.
