Put together solid season coming off leg injuries… Started every game at defensive end opposite Herdley Harrison… Shared Commodore lead with three sacks and four quarterback hurries…Also ranked third on team with 5.5 tackles for loss… Topped all linemen in solo tackles (22) and total tackles (30)… Set single-game career high with six tackles in victory at Arkansas… Performance against Razorbacks, which included 1.5 tackles for loss, earned team[apos]s Defensive Player of the Week honors… Shared team[apos]s top defensive honors after posting single-game career high of five solo tackles in team[apos]s narrow overtime loss at Florida… Also contributed pair of quarterback sacks against Middle Tennessee.

2004
Redshirted after undergoing knee surgery following spring injury.

2003
Played in every game, starting first nine games of season… Set single-season career highs in tackles (30), tackles for loss (2.5) and QB hurries (7)… Set single-game high with five tackles versus Ole Miss and Auburn… Forced a fumble and contributed three QB hurries at TCU.

2002
As undersized true freshman, Booker was a key contributor before suffering knee injury against MTSU… At time of injury, Booker was a solid second-team DE… Saw action in each of team[apos]s first six games… Finished season with seven tackles, a defensed pass and one QB hurry.

High School
Two-year captain… Three-year letterman… Started at inside linebacker junior and senior seasons… Team defensive MVP in 2001… Played five games of 2001 season with a cast due to a fractured leg… As senior, still managed to achieve school-record 113 total tackles, three sacks and an interception for the 4-7 Cougars. Two-year member of all-region and all-district teams… Named to Jackson Clarion-Ledger All-Jackson Metro Team and ‘Mississippi[apos]s Top 40 Recruits’… Listed as Superprep[apos]s #21 Prospect in Mississippi…Most Valuable Player at Southern Miss Summer Football Camp… Used intense work in weight room to transform frame.
