Download Online Donation Form for Canned Food Drive
The Southeastern Conference is sponsoring a league-wide canned food drive to support local organizations in need of food in the next 10 days and Vanderbilt soccer has joined the campaign.
Canned food will be collected at Commodore soccer games Sunday, September 21 vs. UAB at 2:00pm and Friday, September 26 vs. Alabama at 7:00pm. Free admission will be given to anyone donating five cans or more. Soccer games are played at the Vanderbilt Soccer Stadium on campus located at 2601 Jess Neely Drive, Nashville, Tennessee 37212.
Additionally, there will be a collection point at the Vanderbilt Legends Club during the Mason Rudolph Invitational and a third location in the lobby of McGugin Center. On-line donation forms are accessible by clicking here.
Proceeds from the Vanderbilt collection will go to the YWCA of Nashville http://www.ywcanashville.com.
The Student-Athlete Advisory Committee members from each SEC institution have spearheaded the drive with all home events September 19-28 to be included. Vanderbilt does not have a home football game during this period.
