NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Vanderbilt soccer opens the road portion of the 2023 season with a visit to Kansas on Thursday at 8 p.m. at Rock Chalk Park. This is the lone road contest for the Commodores during the first seven games of the season.
The first match between the two squads will be highlighted by freshman Sydney Watts facing her sister Lexie, a sophomore forward for the Jayhawks.
The Dores return to action after outshooting UMass 23-4 in a 0-0 draw on Sunday afternoon. Vanderbilt tallied 11 shots in the second half that were saved by Minutewomen keeper Bella Mendoza, while Sara Wodjelko answered with two saves for the Commodores to keep the score even.
