FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – No. 17 Vanderbilt soccer dropped its second match of the season to No. 10 Arkansas on Thursday night, falling 2-1 at Razorback Field.
Junior Sydney Watts put Vandy (6-2-1, 0-1-1 SEC) in front in the 39th minute, finishing a lead from Melania Fullerton for her team-leading fifth goal of the season.
Arkansas (4-2-2, 2-0 SEC) equalized in the 78th minute when Zoe Susi converted a free kick from outside the box. Seven minutes later, Vailana Tu’ua set up Taylor Berman for the game-winner.
The Dores outshot the Razorbacks 20-10, including an 11-6 edge on frame and earned a 5-2 margin in corner kicks. Keeper Sara Wojdelko recorded three saves in the effort.

The Commodores return home Sunday to host No. 24 Oklahoma at noon at the Vanderbilt Soccer Complex. The match will air on SEC Network+.
