Vanderbilt graduate Brandt Snedeker continued his stellar play at the Masters Friday in Augusta, Ga. Snedeker carded his second straight 2-under par 70 and is tied for fourth at 4-under par for the tournament.
Jason Day leads the tournament at 6-under par, while Fred Couples and Marc Leishman are tied at 5-under par. Snedeker is tied with Angel Cabrera and Jim Furyk.
The Nashville native finished the front nine at even par with three birdies and three bogies. On the back nine, Snedeker had two birdies and not a single bogie.
Snedeker will be paired with Furyk in Saturday’s third round. The twosome will tee off at 1:25 p.m. CT and will be the third-to-last group off the tee. Live coverage of the third round will begin at 2 p.m. CT on CBS.
