Slate Set for 2021 Football

Vanderbilt plays seven home games, including four in first five weeks

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Seven home games, including four in season’s first five weeks, and five games against 2020 bowl teams highlight the Vanderbilt football schedule released on Wednesday by the SEC.

Vanderbilt opens its 2020 campaign hosting East Tennessee State on Sept. 4. The Commodores then head to Colorado State (Sept. 11) before closing the opening month at home with Stanford (Sept. 18) and Georgia (Sept. 25).

In October, Vandy hosts UConn for its final nonconference game (Oct. 2) and then makes a two-game road swing to Florida (Oct. 9) and South Carolina (Oct. 16). The Commodores host Mississippi State (Oct. 23) and Missouri (Oct. 30) to close the month.

After an open date on Nov. 6, Vanderbilt hosts Kentucky (Nov. 13) for its final home game of the campaign. The Commodores cap the regular season with back-to-back road contests, at Ole Miss (Nov. 20) and at Tennessee (Nov. 27).
