NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Vanderbilt soccer wrapped up the 2024 preseason with seven student-athletes listed on the SEC Preseason Watchlist released Wednesday.
Fifth-years Abi Brighton and Julianne Leskauskas, seniors Rachel Deresky and Addie Porter, junior Hannah McLaughlin and sophomores Ella Eggleston and Courtney Jones represent the Dores.
Brighton and McLaughlin earned second-team selections, while Eggleston and Jones were named on the All-Freshman team following the 2023 season. Deresky led the Commodores with 18 points off seven goals and four assists last season. Porter tallied 10 points off three goals and four assists.
The Commodores were also picked to finish ninth in the coaches’ poll.
Vanderbilt will host 11 contests this season including five SEC matches with Georgia, Arkansas, South Carolina, Kentucky and Alabama all scheduled to visit Music City this year.
The Dores open their season on the road at Georgetown tomorrow afternoon before hosting six consecutive home matches to close the non-conference schedule.
