NASHVILLE – Following Wednesday afternoon’s practice, Head Coach Derek Greene spoke with vucommodores.com about this week’s Senior Night game against Kentucky (Friday, 7 p.m. CT).
While Vanderbilt will miss postseason play for the first time in three years, the Commodores should not lack for motivation in Friday’s matchup with their SEC East rival Kentucky. Last season, VU was the guest at UK’s Senior Night and suffered a 6-1 loss to the Wildcats.
The Dores also will be looking to send their senior class–Emily Grant, Elizabeth Lillie, Bridget Lohmuller and Candace West–out with a win. Lohmuller is expected to return to the lineup Friday after missing the entire conference season due to injury.
