NASHVILLE, Tenn. – SEC Nation, the SEC Network’s traveling pregame show, kicks off Week 1 of the 2019 football season Aug. 31 when Vanderbilt plays host to Georgia. Airing live from 9-11 a.m. CT, the show will delve into the storylines of Southeastern Conference football, the weekend’s biggest matchups and more before the reigning SEC East champion Bulldogs face the Commodores in Vanderbilt Stadium at 6:30 p.m. on SEC Network.
The location of SEC Network’s presence on the Vanderbilt campus will be announced at a later date.
This will be SEC Nation’s third edition from Nashville. SEC Nation includes live reports, analysis and features surrounding the world of SEC football, as well as special appearances from hometown favorites throughout the season. Laura Rutledge hosts the traveling pregame show, navigating the Saturday morning conversations with analysts Tim Tebow, Marcus Spears and Paul Finebaum. Returning in 2019 is the SEC Nation demo field that debuted at the show’s SEC Media Days stop in July, as well as the weekly series “Nation Shorts,” from the creators of “SEC Shorts.”
Vanderbilt will also play host Friday to The Paul Finebaum Show, which airs from 2-6 p.m. on SEC Network. Fans are invited to catch all four hours of the show from the set on Vanderbilt’s campus.
Besides Georgia, Vanderbilt’s home schedule includes LSU on Sept. 21, Northern Illinois on Sept. 28, UNLV on Oct. 12, Missouri on Oct. 19, Kentucky on Nov. 16 and East Tennessee State on Nov. 23.
Season tickets for the 2019 are available at the same rates as a year ago. Season ticket packages for the Commodores’ seven-game home schedule starts at only $308 for premium sideline seats and $178 for reserve end zone sections of Vanderbilt Stadium. Tickets can be purchased here.
