Season tickets offer best value to football fans

June 23, 2017

Coming off the program’s most successful season under Derek Mason, Vanderbilt is offering season tickets for its seven-game home schedule at substantial discounts off individual ticket prices.

The season ticket discount – ranging from 13% for premium sideline locations to 30% for south end zone sections – comes with Vanderbilt Athletics officially announcing single-game prices to all seven games.

Individual tickets for the Commodores’ home slate range from $25 for the opener against Alabama A&M on Sept. 9 to $95 for the Sept. 23 matchup against Alabama.

Additional single-game ticket prices are $65 for the Georgia matchup on Oct. 4, $50 for late-season encounters against Kentucky on Nov. 11 and Missouri on Nov. 18, and $30 for non-conference games against Kansas State on Sept. 16 and Western Kentucky on Nov. 4.

Single-game tickets to Vanderbilt’s four SEC home games will not be available to the public until early September.

The upcoming home schedule features a rare appearance on West End by three-defending SEC champion Alabama. The Commodores and Crimson Tide have not met in Vanderbilt Stadium since the 2007 season.

Season-ticket packages start as low as $170 for seats in six sections of the south end zone inside Vanderbilt Stadium. The end zone price represents more than a 50% discount from the $345 total of seven single-game ticket prices.

Season tickets for three premium midfield sections on the east side of Vanderbilt Stadium are available for $300, a 13% discount off the $345 price.

Substantial savings for season tickets also are available for all Vanderbilt employees. The employee price, $240 for premium sideline seats, is 30% below full price.

Associate Athletic Director Martin Salamone says the pricing structure is designed to benefit season ticket holders enthusiastic over the Commodores’ close to the 2016 regular season that included impressive wins over Tennessee and Ole Miss.

The biggest discount is for Vanderbilt’s Family Plan, an offer of two adult tickets and two youth tickets in the south end zone sections. The Family Plan is priced at $470, 34% off full price.

A processing fee of $8 will be added to each season-ticket purchase.
