Scott Brown Named First Team All-SEC 4/19/2005 Vanderbilt senior and St. Louis native Scott Brown was named to the Southeastern Conference First Team by the league office Tuesday night. The honor comes on the heels of a regular season that saw Brown post a remarkable record of 16-5, 6-4 SEC, including 15 wins at the No. 1 singles position. In the 2005 regular season, Brown knocked off seven foes ranked in the top 100 by the ITA. With his doubles victory against No. 12 Kentucky on Saturday, Brown became the winningest player in the history of Vanderbilt men’s tennis with 173 total victories.
