• The American Conference announced its weekly awards on Monday, recognizing Vanderbilt freshman midfielder Gabby Putman as Freshman of the Week. The honor marks Putman’s fourth consecutive week earning a conference award, while Alex Gladding was named to the weekly honorable mention list
• Putman delivered a record-setting performance against Charlotte, establishing a new program single-game mark with 16 draw controls. The Cicero, New York, native also added two goals in Saturday’s win and recorded a goal earlier in the week at Louisville
• Gladding, a team captain, anchored the Dores’ defensive effort with five caused turnovers and four ground balls across the two games. She recorded three caused turnovers in the conference win over Charlotte, marking her fourth game this season with at least three

Last Time Out
• Vanderbilt scored eight first-quarter goals and never looked back in a 16-7 victory over Charlotte on Saturday afternoon at the Vanderbilt Lacrosse Complex. During today’s game, the Vanderbilt lacrosse program celebrated its 30th anniversary, welcoming back over 100 alumni
•Vanderbilt (6-6, 2-0 American) used a fast start to take control early, with seven different players scoring in the opening period to build an 8-1 lead. The Commodores added another goal in the second quarter to carry a 9-2 advantage into halftime. Anna Taraboletti and Brooke Baker led the way with three goals each, while Gabby Putman, Hayden Miller and Shea Panzik added two apiece. Panzik also dished out two assists for a team-high four points and Avery Morton also added two assists
• Putman controlled the draw with a program single game record 16 draw controls as Vanderbilt held an 18-6 advantage.
