2016
Johnson returned from an injury the previous year to play a critical role on Commodore special teams as a fourth-year contributor… Johnson enjoyed multiple roles on special teams, serving as a long snapper early in the year on punting situations while doing a superb job as the holder on Commodore field goal and extra point tries.

2015
Just as Johnson looked to lock down a key special teams role in his third year on campus, injury prematurely ended his season… Johnson served as the team’s primary long snapper against Western Kentucky and Georgia, but suffered a leg injury against the Bulldogs that forced him out of action for the rest of the year.

2014
Johnson did not participate in a game as a second-year special teams’ contributor… Competed for much of the year as the top backup to senior snapper Andrew East.

2013
Johnson did not play in his first year with the Commodores… Worked as a practice squad snapper on conversions.

High School
Three-year letterwinner and starter for one of Middle
Tennessee’s top private schools… Started at WR, safety and as snapper for Big Red, helping school to three straight Division II state playoff appearances… Also lettered on baseball.
