Earned 11 consecutive starts at quarterback for Wildcats in 2004 and 2005… Squad was 3-8 with Kovalcheck as starter in final four games in 2004 and first seven games in 2005… Helped Arizona defeat rival Arizona State 34-27 in 2004 finale, tossing three TDs… Earned Pac-10 All-Freshman by The Sporting News… As sophomore, guided Wildcats to win over Northern Arizona and narrow losses versus Utah and Stanford… Threw three TDs at Southern California… Named to Pac-10[apos]s All-Academic squad.

Kovalcheck earned a bachelor[apos]s degree in Business Management from the University of Arizona in May 2006, and is enrolled in graduate courses at Vanderbilt[apos]s Owen School of Management.
