Played in six games after struggling with early-season injuries… Earned consecutive starts at defensive tackle against LSU, Georgia, South Carolina and Florida… Finished season with seven total tackles, one tackle for loss and a quarterback hurry… Missed the first four games and season finale with injuries… Registered three tackles, including a tackle for loss, against Georgia… Contributed pair of tackles at South Carolina.

2004
Played in every game despite enduring painful pinched nerve in neck that slowed progress during second half of season… Prior to injury, earned first collegiate start at tackle versus home-state Rutgers… Contributed career-high of four tackles at Navy… Also added three-tackle efforts against both South Carolina and Georgia.

Redshirted… Named defensive scout team Player of the Week after Florida and Tennessee games.
