2014: Played in 15 games, taking four shots, as a defender and outside midfielder… Was called up to full roster for Colombia National Team a week before FIFA Women’s World Cup in June in Canada… First active VU player to represent country in Women’s World Cup… Represented her native country as Colombia upset third-ranked France for first World Cup victory and advanced out of group play for first time… Has played for Colombian Football Federation since she was 15 years old.
2013:Redshirted… Trained with Colombia U-20 National Team in native country for U-20 World Cup Qualifying Tournament.
2012:Appeared in 11 games off the bench as a freshman… Netted her first career goal in Vanderbilt’s season-opening victory over UT-Martin… Added an assist the following weekend at Oklahoma State… Also recorded a shot in VU’s 4-2 win at Mississippi State.
HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB:Four-year starter for Coach Ann Vierkorn at Briar Woods. Team captain for the Falcons as a senior… Earned first-team all-district honors named second team All-Met as a junior. Played club for Clyde Watson’s McLean Strikers… Won the 2010 Virginia State Cup and reached USYS national finals… Member of the ODP Region I team for five years, competing at ODP Inter-Regionals in Florida each fall. Has participated in two international trips and was invited to national camp in 2009… Played for Colombian U-20 squad at the South American Women’s Championship in the spring 2012, recording two assists in seven games… Won gold medal with Colombia U-20 team at 2013 Bolivian Games in Peru.
