In just his second year among the offensive line corps, Jelesky started 11 games at offensive guard… Valuable blocker earned starts at both guard positions, with most coming on the right side of center… Helped pave the way for a rushing attack that averaged 170 yards per game and a passing attack that averaged 222 yards per game… Nominated for SEC Offensive Lineman of the Week honors after superb blocking effort in win at Wake Forest… Last start came in team[apos]s 38-24 victory over North Carolina State in Music City Bowl.
2011
Fourth-year contributor put together his finest year as a Commodore… After a season playing defensive tackle, Jelesky moved to offensive guard during preseason camp… By season[apos]s end, the redshirt junior was one of the Commodores[apos] most valuable offensive linemen… Played in 11 games, earning a starting role at right guard for the final five games… During Jelesky[apos]s stretch as a regular-season starter, the Vanderbilt offense produced an average of 30.8 points and 388.5 total yards.
2010
Undersized as a first-year DT, Jelesky managed to contribute effectively in limited action… Played in all 12 games, either as reserve DT or on special teams… Finished year with 15 total tackles, including two that resulted in losses… Had career-high seven tackles in extensive action at Connecticut.
2009
Played in 11 games, participating on special teams and as a defense end… Credited with one assisted tackle against Florida… Spent second year on campus continuing to add strength and weight.
2008
Jelesky redshirted in 2008, showing promise as a defensive end on scout teams… Earned team[apos]s Defensive Scout of Week honor after Tennessee game.
High School
Senior captain… Moved to LB as senior after starting at DE as junior… Played final five regular season games, helping Central to 8A playoffs… Contributed 83 tackles, four QB sacks as senior… In 2006, notched 97 tackles and four sacks… Team reached state quarterfinals in 2006… Earned letters in water polo and swimming…Participated in conference[apos]s leadership council as senior.

Joshua Lee Jelesky… Son of Richard and Beth Jelesky… Born on May 17, 1990… Dad is regional sales manager; mom is hospital quality and risk director… Has an older brother, Chris… Grandfather earned undergraduate and medical school degrees from Vanderbilt; grandmother attended Peabody College… Mother was born at Vanderbilt Medical Center. Jelesky is in his first year of graduate studies at the Peabody College, working toward a master[apos]s in Leadership and Organizational Performance. He earned an undergraduate degree in Economics last May. He is a three-time SEC Academic Honor Roll recipient..
