#6 Josh Crawford
Crawford played in ten games including the first six games of the season… The running back produced 65 yards on 19 carries alongside two touchdowns while hauling in three receptions for 18 yards… Crawford added a season-high 10 carries and rushed for 37 yards against Nevada on Sept. 8… Against the Wolf Pack, he added a 1-yard touchdown rush late in the fourth quarter to cap Vanderbilt’s 41-10 victory… Crawford produced Vanderbilt’s lone touchdown, running in from two yards at Georgia on Oct. 6.
With greater depth at the running back position, Crawford did not see action and redshirted during his third year on campus… Crawford contributed as a valuable scout team running back during the regular season.
Crawford participated among a deep running back corps in his second season on campus… Crawford finished the year with 71 rushing yards on 14 carries, taking snaps at running back behind Ralph Webb and Khari Blasingame… Crawford set a career high with 49 rushing yards in Commodores’ victory over Tennessee State… Also posted a 20-yard rush, longest of his career, against Tennessee State.
Crawford saw action as a true freshman in seven games, serving as a top reserve running back behind Ralph Webb and Dallas Rivers… Finished the season with 55 rushing yards on 18 carries and 11 receiving yards on two catches… Set game highs of 20 rushing yards and six carries in first appearance at Ole Miss… Two catches also came against the Rebels.
