Produced finest overall season as second-year starter at wide receiver… Started every game opposite All-SEC and all-time leading receiver Earl Bennett… Established new single-season career highs with 32 receptions and 397 receiving yards… Matched career high with three touchdown catches… Had at least one reception in every game, producing two or more catches in nine of 12 games… In season finale, caught seven passes for 94 yards vs. Wake Forest… Scored only Commodore touchdown vs. Alabama on 15-yard pass from Mackenzi Adams… Shared Offensive Player of the Week honors following performance at South Carolina that included 22-yard connection with Adams that gave [apos]Dores their first touchdown in eventual 17-6 win… Also scored team[apos]s final points on 2-yard pass from Adams at Tennessee, giving Commodores a 24-9 advantage late in third quarter.

Played in every game, starting the first 11 games at wide receiver… Became more productive opposing All-SEC sophomore Earl Bennett as season endured, catching at least two passes in each of Vanderbilt[apos]s last five games… Concluded season as team[apos]s No. 3 receiver with 21 catches, good for a single-season career high 313 yards and two touchdowns… Contributed five receptions, including a TD, in narrow loss to Florida, then followed that performance with a three-catch, 79-yard effort at Kentucky… Of 21 receptions, four resulted in gains of 30 yards or more.

2005
Continued remarkable recovery from serious illness, developing into a key receiver in first year of collegiate action… Played in nine games, missing MTSU and LSU games with injury… Ended season as a starter at wide receiver, and one of Jay Cutler[apos]s top aerial targets… Concluded campaign fourth on team with 23 receptions, good for 287 yards and a pair of touchdowns… Averaged four catches and 57 receiving yards in last four games… Season highs in catches (7) and receiving yards (110) came against Kentucky… Longest reception of season (47 yards) was a remarkable catch over two defenders at Tennessee.

2004
Participated in practice, but did not play… Awarded medical redshirt after doctors declined to clear him for full contact during season… Smith[apos]s absence followed a critical illness that forced him into extended hospital rehabilitation and out of classes. Offensive Scout Player of the Week after Rutgers game.

2003
Redshirted… Earned scout team Offensive Player of the Week award prior to season finale.

Senior captain and wide receiver starter in lone season at Fort Lauderdale-area school… Transferred for senior year from Maryland… Had 37 receptions for 851 yards (23 yard average) and nine TDs for 5-5 team that competed in tough Broward County league… Named team[apos]s Offensive Most Valuable Player… Named second team All-Broward County by Miami Herald and Fort Lauderdale Sun-Sentinel… Started in two postseason games – Broward County All-Star Game and Broward/Dade Game… As junior, started at receiver for Joppatown (MD) squad that lost in state finals… Named All-State and All-Region as junior… Also competes in track & field, with personal bests of 22[apos]2′ in long jump and 43[apos]1′ triple jump.
