Redshirt Junior (2009-10)
Played in two events and five rounds, and posted a stroke average of 74.80…Finished 21st at the Mason Rudolph, and tied for 30th at the Gordin-Myers…Low round of 70 came in the final round of the Mason Rudolph.

Redshirt Sophomore (2008-09)
Competed in 12 rounds during four tournaments… Low score came at the 2009 Rio Pinar Intercollegiate, a three-round total of 223 (seven-over) good for 46th in a field of 108 golfers… Finished 17th at the 2009 Coca-Cola Duke Individual with an 11-over 224.

Redshirt Freshman (2007-08)
Playing in his first collegiate event, led the Commodores[apos] ‘B’ Team with a one-over 72 at Mason Rudolph Championship… Competed in two of 12 tournaments for Vanderbilt… Finished 21st at the one-day Mason Rudolph Intercollegiate… Also competed at the WCU Intercollegiate, shooting an 11-over 153 to finish in 44th out of 83 players.

Freshman (2006-07)
Did not compete during his first year on campus, opting instead to redshirt the 2006-07 season.

Amateur
Very active in the AJGA, carding two Top 14[apos]s… Has competed in many top junior events such as the Western Junior Amateur, the Optimist International Junior Golf Championship, and the FCWT National Championship.

High School
Graduated from the Pendleton School with high honors and distinctions such as the Dr. Salamone award for top student-athletes… Also attended the David Leadbetter Golf Academy with his brother and sister.

Personal
Craig Michael Tallent… Son of Cynthia and Michael… Oldest of three children (one brother, one sister)… His uncle, Pat Tallent, is a very competitive mid-amateur golfer… Interest in music led him to record a full-length album with his own guitar, piano and vocals… Has played guitar for 11 years… Majoring in East Asian Studies… Has traveled to China twice, including this past summer and in 2008 for the Summer Olympics… Named to the SEC Academic Honor Roll.
