Played in all 13 events and 37 rounds, and had a stroke average of 72.62…Has five top 10 finishes this season, with his best coming at the SMU Querencia Cabo Collegiate, when he finished in a tie for fourth…Three of his last six rounds have been in the 60[apos]s…Low round of the year came in second round of San Antonio Regional with a 67…Also posted a 68 twice at the SEC Championship in the final two rounds…Was the Commodores[apos] low finisher at SECs, shooting a 207 (71-68-68), which set a new Vanderbilt three-round stroke record at the SEC Championship…Also posted a 69 in second round of the Gator Invitational.
Summer 2013
Finished in a tie for 14th at the 73rd Annual Monroe Invitational at the Monroe Golf Club in Pittsford, N.Y., and also won two Texas Collegiate Amateur Tour stops this summer, one at the Historic Golf Club of Dallas and the other at the Trophy Club[apos]s Hogan Course.
Junior (2012-13)
Played in all 12 events and 35 rounds, and had a stroke average of 74.69…Best finish of the season came at the ASU Fall Beach Classic, when he ended the tournament fifth among 70 players (72-74-74=220)…Low round of the season came in first round of the Schenkel Invitational, when he posted a 68…Lowest 54-hole total was a 214 (69-71-74) at the Mason Rudolph Championship, where he helped lead the Commodores to the team championship…Also secured top 20 finishes at theSamford Intercollegiate (T-19), Schenkel Invitational (T-16), and the Jim West Intercollegiate (T-12).
Sophomore (2011-12)
Was the team[apos]s most improved player in 2011-12 and tied for the team[apos]s second-best scoring average at 73.8…Had five top 20 finishes, four top 10[apos]s, and one top five…Best finish of the season came at the Arkansas State Red Wolf Intercollegiate, when he tied for first with a total score of 209 (71-68-70)…Other top 10[apos]s came at Hummingbird Intercollegiate (T-7th), Mobile Bay Intercollegiate (T-7th), and the Memphis Intercollegiate (T-9th)…Lowest round of the year came in the second round of the Red Wolf Intercollegiate when he carded a 68…Posted a 69 in the second round of the Hummingbird Intercollegiate.
Freshman (2010-11)
Played in five events and 13 rounds as a true freshman…Ended the season with a 76.3 stroke average…Carded a 229 (80-78-71) and finished in a tie for 33rd at the Invitational at The Ocean Course, his best finish of the season.
High School
Was a team captain for the Highland Park High School golf team, which earned runner-up honors in the 2009 Class 4A state tournament in Texas…Earned medalist honors at the 2009 Austin Fall Preview Golf Tournament and the 2009 Texarkana ‘The Classic’…Placed 11th in the prestigious Bart Granger Invitational.
