Played in nine events and 27 rounds in his senior season and has an average of 73.70 for the year…Posted season-low rounds of 69 on two occasions – in the first round of the Tavistock Collegiate and the second round of the Querenica Cabo Collegiate…Best finish of the season was a T-26 finish at the DICK’s Collegiate Challenge Cup.
Summer 2014
Qualified for the 2014 U.S. Amateur in Atlanta, Ga…Also participated in The Players Amateur.
As a Junior (2013-14)
Played in 10 events and 28 rounds in his junior season and had a stroke average of 73.11 for the year…Low finish of the year came at the Commodores’ Mason Rudolph Championship, when he finished in a tie for second with a three-under 210 (73-69-68)…The final-round 68 at the Mason was his lowest of the season…Also posted a 69 in the final round of the SEC Championship and in the first round of the NCAA Championship.
Summer 2013
Placed third at the Palmetto Amateur in his home state, and finished in a tie for 27th at the Greystone Invitational…Finished in a tie for 36th at the Players Amateur.
As a Sophomore (2012-13)
Played in 10 events and 30 rounds, had a scoring average of 74.07…Best finish of his career came at the ASU Fall Beach Classic, when he led his team to the tournament title with a third-place finish (69-76-72=217)…Low round of the year came in the opening round of the Fall Beach Classic with a career-low 69…Was team’s leading scorer at SEC Championship, finishing in a tie for 20th with a 218 (74-72-72).
As a Freshman (2011-12)
Played in 20 rounds in 2011-12 and had a scoring average of 75.1…Best finish of the season came in the Carmel Cup, when he finished ninth with a total of 230 (78-77-75)…Low round of the year came twice – shot a 71 in the final round of the Schenkel Invitational and the second round of the Red Wolf Intercollegiate.
High School
Attended Spring Valley High School in Columbia, S.C…Injured in his senior season and did not compete…Was his team’s MVP three times, was named to the All-Region team twice, and was the 2010 South Carolina-Georgia Cup medalist…His Spring Valley High School team won the 2009 Region Championship, the 2009 Ninety-Six Classic, and the 2009 Hartman Memorial; finished as the runner-ups at the 2009 Palmetto Golf Championship and the 2009 Capital City Classic…Had seven top-20 AJGA finishes in his junior career, including a second place at the 2010 North & South Junior Championship and a fifth (2009) and 11th place finish at the Bobby Chapman Invitational. Academically, Fogler is a National Merit Scholarship Qualifier and a member of the National Honor Society, and carries a 4.8 GPA.
