George participated in eight games before injuries derailed his season…Was a key part in the Vanderbilt run game that produced nearly 2,200 yards on the season.

2017
George saw action in eight games, participating on special teams and as blocking fullback… Did not register rush attempt… First collegiate action came in season-opening win at Middle Tennessee.

2016
George did not see action as a redshirt freshman, playing behind a crowded and talented corps of running backs. He contributed through the season as a running back on the offensive scout team.

2015
A preseason injury limited George’s participation in his first year on campus as a running back prospect.

HIGH SCHOOL

Jaire David George… Son of Eddie George and Angela Wood… Born March 24, 1997 in Columbus, Ohio… Has a younger brother, Eriq… Mom is program manager at SharePoint KM; dad won 1995 Heisman Trophy as Ohio State RB, was 14th overall pick of the 1996 NFL Draft, and rushed for 10,441 yards in nine NFL seasons, including eight years with Tennessee Titans… Enjoys playing piano and drums, and composing music… Working toward a degree in economics.
