Robinson Named Midfielder of the Week

This is the second honor in three weeks for Robinson

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The American Athletic Conference announced its weekly award winners Monday with Kemper Robinson earning AAC Midfielder of the Week for the second time the season. Nancy Halleron was named to honorable mention for the third time in four weeks.

Robinson led Vanderbilt to a key 12-11 win against Temple, improving the Commodores to 2-2 in conference play. Robinson scored two goals, picked up a game-high five ground balls, had three draw controls and caused six turnovers in the win. The six caused turnovers are the most by a player in The American in a game this season, while she leads the conference with 22 caused turnovers in 2025. The midfielder’s career-high-tying five ground balls are the most by a Commodore in a single game this season.

Halleron posted her sixth hat trick of the season finishing with three goals and a career-high-tying two assists for a personal-best five points. The attacker out of Timonium, Maryland, has scored at least three goals in five of the last seven contests.
