• Vanderbilt leads the all-time series 6-0-0 with the first matchup taking place 2003, resulting in a 2-0 Commodore win. In all six meetings, Vanderbilt has conceded only one goal and it was in its lone trip to Cookeville
• The two programs last met in 2021, with Vandy walking away with an overtime, 1-0 victory

The Opponent
• Tennessee Tech enters the contest 0-2 after falling to Lipscomb (0-2) in the opener and at South Alabama (0-2) last weekend
• Last season, Tech finished 6-8-6, after claiming the Ohio Valley Conference regular season title for the third consecutive season
• The Golden Eagles were upset at home in the opening round of the conference tournament, falling in penalty kicks to Morehead State in the semifinals

Scouting Report
• In goal, fourth-year starter Maggie Conrad is coming off an impressive 2024 season that landed her on All-OVC Second Team for the first time in her career. Conrad has appeared in 58 career matches (57 starts), registering over 5,000 minutes. Starting each game this season, Conrad has made seven saves and allowed four goals
• After earning All-OVC First Team in 2024, Lucia Cuadra returns to the midfield for Tech as a graduate. Last year, she started all 20 matches and clocked over 1300 minutes on the pitch. Starting both matches so far this season, Cuadra has taken one shot
• Forward Katie Toney was also named All-OVC First Team after an impressive junior season that saw starts in all 20 matches and over 1700 minutes of action. Toney finished tied for fifth in the OVC with goals scored

Dores Jump Six Spots
• Vanderbilt soccer jumped six spots in the United Soccer Coaches Poll, registering at 11th in the country heading into Thursday’s matchup. The six spots are the second-highest jump in the rankings this week, after Texas Tech jumped seven spots
• The Dores started the season ranked No. 17 by USC

Last Time Out
• Vanderbilt soccer took a 2-0 victory over Louisville Sunday evening at the Vanderbilt Soccer Complex. It marks the second consecutive season opening the season with back-to-back shutouts
• Freshman Olivia Stafford broke open the scoring off a long ball assist from Mary Beth McLaughlin to register her first career goal in the 13th minute of the contest
• Vanderbilt doubled its lead just minutes later when Stafford was fouled inside the box, setting up a penalty kick. Junior Courtney Jones stepped up for the penalty and drove the ball bottom right, just under Louisville’s Erynn Floyd’s hand to give Vandy its final advantage of the night
