Series History
• This will be the fifth matchup between the programs in a series that James Madison leads 3-1
• The first meeting between the teams was in 2004, which resulted in a Commodore victory 10-4
• The programs last meet during the 2025 regular season in Nashville with JMU taking a 20-8 win

The Opponent
• James Madison enters the contest 12-4 (5-0 AAC) after clinching the outright regular season title in a 14-13 overtime win in the regular season finale at East Carolina, carrying a six-game winning streak into the postseason
• James Madison won its second AAC regular-season title in the Dukes’ three seasons in the conference and have reached the championship final in each of their first two seasons, but have yet to walk away with a championship
• JMU leads the conference in draw control percentage (66.4 percent), draw controls per game (18.13), and saves percentage (46.9 percent)
• Nationally, JMU has the second-best draw control percentage and the third-most draw controls per game

The Scouting Report
• Maddie Epke leads the Dukes with 72 points off 54 goals and 18 assists. Epke leads the way with 204 draw controls, the only players in the country to have two 20+ draw control performances in a single game this season. Epke has totaled 454 draw controls in her career so far, fourth all-time
• Savannah Derey has the second-most points on the team with 50, off 46 goals and four assists
• Ava Bleckley has the most caused turnovers on the team with 20

Last Time Out for the Dores
• Jaime Biskup paced Vanderbilt with four goals and two assists to a 16-6 senior day victory over Old Dominion to clinch the final spot in the AAC Championships. Brooke Baker and Cate Bradley each recorded hat tricks. Bailey Lower led the way on the draw circle with eight controls and Molly Finlay and Nancy Halleron scored two goals apiece.
• Kemper Robinson and Maddie Barkate each added a goal, while Anna Taraboletti handed out a career-high three assists and Sammy Nuchow dished two. Defensively, Alex Gladding and McKenna Harden combined for four ground balls and four caused turnovers

 Postseason Honors
• Graduates Brooke Baker and Jaime Biskup along with senior Kemper Robinson were named first-team All-American Athletic Conference, while Alex Gladding and Nancy Halleron were named second-team All-AAC
