- Four captains represented the Commodores at midfield: Randon Fontenette, Diego Pavia, Langston Patterson and Eli Stowers
- Missouri won the toss and elected to receive
- Vandy is off to a 7-1 start for the first time since 1941
- For the first time in program history, the Commodores have recorded three regular season wins over AP top 25 opponents
- Vanderbilt’s seven wins before November matches a school record set by the 1915 team
- Vanderbilt is tied with Alabama for most wins over AP top 15 teams this season with three
- The Dores held the Tigers to its lowest point total of the season, while it was Missouri’s fewest points scored in a game since Oct. 26, 2024

- The Commodores defeated Missouri for the first time since the 2019 season, when Vandy collected a 21-14 victory in Nashville

PLAYER NOTES
- Diego Pavia scored the go-ahead touchdown on a 1-yard rush to put Vanderbilt in front late in the fourth quarter. It was his 20th overall touchdown accounted for this season, while it was his fifth rushing score
- Makhilyn Young recorded Vanderbilt’s longest play of the season with an 80-yard touchdown run in the third quarter that gave the Dores a 10-3 lead
- Young’s 80-yard rush is the longest rush by a Commodore since Mike Wright ran for 87 yards at Hawai’i on Aug. 27, 2022
- Eli Stowers eclipsed 1,000 receiving yards as a Commodore, recording 42 vs. Missouri
- Tre Richardson recorded a season-long 37-yard reception in the first quarter
- Brock Taylor drilled a 38-yard field goal to extend his streak to 18 consecutive made field goals. Heading into the game, Taylor’s streak was tied for the fifth-longest active run in the nation
- CJ Heard forced a fumble in the fourth quarter, his first of the season and the second of his career
- Heard was also credited with eight tackles and one for a loss, his second of the season
- Bryan Longwell recorded a team and career-high 13 tackles
- Miles Capers set a season best and matched his career high with seven tackles
- Dontae Carter registered a career-high six tackles
- Langston Patterson posted eight tackles, a season high
- Keanu Koht recorded a sack for the second game in a row
