Vanderbilt athletics announced a new addition to the fan ticket experience for the 2012 football season with an online referral program that rewards Commodore fans for helping to spread the word about tickets to their friends and family.
The online referral program encourages Commodore fans to visit vucommodores.com and submit the names and contact information of family/friends/colleagues/neighbors who might have an interest in purchasing Vanderbilt football season tickets. For each referral that is submitted, the submitting fan will be entered to win a drawing for a trip for two to Chicago for Vanderbilt’s game at Northwestern on September 8th. The trip will include airfare and hotel accommodations along with two tickets in the Vanderbilt section.
As a secondary incentive, if a referral turns into a sale, the fan who submitted the referral will receive an exclusive Vanderbilt polo shirt (one shirt per person).
“We believe that Vanderbilt football is something that Commodore fans want to share with those around them and this is a great way to do that and get rewarded for it,” Director of Sales and Marketing Steve Walsh said.
Fans will be able to submit referrals from June 15 – July 15. The drawing for the winner of the Northwestern trip will be in late July.
