Augenstein, Snedeker complete three rounds at the Masters

AUGUSTA, Ga. — Vanderbilt senior John Augenstein and former Vanderbilt standout Brandt Snedeker each completed the third round of the Masters Tournament on Saturday in Augusta, Georgia.

Augenstein, in his fifth year, started his third round tied for 28th. But double bogeys on the first and 18th holes put him at 3-over for the day and even par for the tournament.

He sits tied for 50th going into Sunday’s final day.

 

 

Snedeker finished his second round early Saturday and began his third round tied for 35th. He would shoot a 3-over 75 on Saturday and his 5-over for the tournament has him tied for 59th.

Augenstein is scheduled to tee off at 8:06 a.m. CT Sunday with Tony Finau and Christiaan Bezuidenhout while Snedeker will hit his first ball ay 8:39 a.m. CT with Jimmy Walker and Bernd Weisberger.
