Commodores begin play in Chattanooga Thursday morning

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — The Vanderbilt men’s tennis team returns to action Thursday when play gets underway at the ITA Ohio Valley Regional Championship hosted by Chattanooga.

The event—which will be held at the Champions Club at Riverfront Park—will start with doubles beginning at 8 a.m. CT, with the first round of singles set for to get underway at 11 a.m. The field includes 128 singles players and 64 doubles teams.

Vandy’s pair of Jeremie Casabon and Nathan Cox are seeded second, with the team of Juan Lopez and Michael Ross among seeds Nos. 9-16. Cox is the fourth seed in singles as well, with Casabon entering play the No. 12 seed, and the trio of Joubert Klopper, Lopez and Ross among seeds Nos. 17-32.
