STARKVILLE, Miss. (AP) — Alexis Rack scored 14 points and Armelie Lumanu had 12 to lead Mississippi State to a 66-61 win over No. 20 Vanderbilt on Thursday night.
Christina Wirth scored 16 points to lead the Commodores, and Meredith Marsh added 13 points on 4-of-12 shooting.
Mississippi State (17-6, 4-4 Southeastern Conference) shot 22-of-52 from the field, and responded to Lauren Lueders’ go-ahead 3-pointer with a 12-5 run.
The Commodores (17-6, 6-2) opened the second half with a 9-1 run, going ahead 42-41 with just under 10 minutes on Lueders’ shot. Vanderbilt had 27 turnovers.
