Vanderbilt lacrosse signs nine for 2020 signing class

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Vanderbilt lacrosse and head coach Beth Hewitt are excited to have the 2020 early signing class join the Vanderbilt family Monday with the official signings of Maggie Arnold, Cailin Bracken, Haley Gochnauer, Megan Graziano, Ellie Hilsabeck, Lindsey Maxwell, Remy Ricciardi, Lexie de Roziere and Ella Smith.

“We are thrilled to welcome this exciting class of athletes to our Vanderbilt lacrosse family,” Hewitt said. “The recruiting class is our first as a staff and one that we are extremely proud of. The 2020 signees span seven states and consists of a group of competitors that are ready to step in and take our program to the next level.

“We believe these players can make an immediate impact and can’t wait to feel their presence on our lacrosse field.”

The Commodores enjoyed one of their more successful seasons to date in 2019 with their first postseason appearance since 2014. The Commodores finished with a 10-6 record for their first 10-win season since 2010 when they went 12-6.

Vanderbilt’s six wins at home last season marked its most in a season since winning six home games in 2012.

Maggie Arnold (Defender/Defensive Midfielder)

Cailin Bracken (Attacker)

Haley Gochnauer (Attacker)

Megan Graziano (Attacker)
